MKOMANI Computerization project involves the installation of 17 usable computer terminals / monitors in the designated room at MKOMANI girls Primary school.

The computer terminals will run Microsoft Windows XP, Office 2003, and have a connection to the internet through a VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) link directly to the internet.

Also, there will be a wireless hub connected to an outdoor antenna, which will allow wireless internet access within the school, and also to the neighboring LAMU boy’s primary school.

All these will be done in a Computer lab room which will be prepared and secured. Preparation will include doing of electrical works, making of furniture, painting of the room, doing of the ceiling and finally installing burglar proof grills and a burglar proof door.
