General Administration and setup training was provided to Mr Bunu, who is a teacher at the school, and is likely to take up a lab administrative role. Mr Bunu was chosen as the key person to be trained, given his previous computer knowledge, and immense interest in the field.

Also present during the process, were representatives from the immediate neighbor Lamu Boys Primary school, who can already access internet, using their wifi enabled laptop, representatives from the Lamu Polytechnic and Lamu boys secondary school.

It was ensured, that the training was hands on, so that the lab can run with minimal external input, as computer knowledge on the Island is very scarce.
